From distinct priesthoods to a shared institutional home.
An idea that needed a home
The Priesthood of Innovation and the Priesthood of Restoration emerged as distinct bodies of work with different central concerns. Innovation explored the responsibilities of builders, thinkers and creators; Restoration explored spiritual awakening, renewal and the development of restorers.
As the work expanded, it became clear that neither needed to contain the other. A larger institution could honour both and leave room for future vocations. That institution is Priesthood Nation.
From calling to continuity
Priesthood Nation gives a durable home to philosophical texts, teaching, common principles, individual priesthoods and generations of contributors. It is not dependent on one discipline or a single movement.
Still being written
The founding work is ongoing. Where this website describes institutional frameworks that have not yet been formally adopted, they are identified as proposals rather than presented as settled history.
